The Back to Basics Angel Program provides
the 'Basics' of New Sneakers, Socks, Underwear and a Toy for the Holidays.
Back to Basics works directly with elementary schools in Palm Beach County
to identify the children who need these essentials.
Each year we provide the 'Basics' to over 10,000 children and
we depend heavily on the generosity of the community to help provide these gifts.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Here is how it works:
The schools provide size, age, and gender information for the children. This information is printed on Angel Tags.
Organizations, businesses, clubs, private schools, individuals, etc., 'adopt' a group of children, receive
the Angel Tags, and purchase the promised gifts for them: new sneakers, socks, underwear, and a toy.
When all the wrapped gifts are returned to Back to Basics, they are sorted
and distributed to the schools.
Here is how you can get involved:
Let us know how many children you are willing to adopt.
We will provide Angel Tags with information for each child.
Distribute the Angel Tags to your group, asking each individual to shop for and wrap each the 4 gifts promised.
Ask them to combine all gifts into a large gift bag and tape the bag shut
with the Angel Tag taped to the outside of the gift bag.
Collect all of the gift bags by the deadline, ensuring that all have been returned.
You can either deliver the gift bags to our warehouse, or we will arrange to pick them up.
Please consider partnering with Back to Basics to ensure all of these children are served.
For many of these children, this could be the only gifts they receive for the holidays.
